GROW4AWU

We're Parul, Alan and Olivia, and we're running together for the AWU Executive Board under a name that captures our vision: GROW, Grow our Ranks, Organize to Win.

AWU has come a long way. We've gone from a small group of coworkers with an idea to over a thousand members, with organizers and strong chapters in offices across the US and Canada. But there are still tens of thousands of Googlers who have never had a conversation about the union, and we want to change that. Our vision is for every Google worker to know about AWU and to know it's their home for building worker power. Our goal is to grow by thousands of members over the next two years, and to use our strength to stand up for our coworkers, win a real voice in improving our workplace, fight for job security, and bring worker voices into how tech and AI are changing our world.

Together we bring eleven years of experience leading AWU: five for Parul and three each for Alan and Olivia. We've led the union through layoffs sweeping the tech industry, rapid growth and a changing political landscape, and we know what it takes to be ready when the next moment comes.
